For some reason, pants are the fastest items to wear out on big & tall suits. Two pairs of suit pants will stretch out the life span of a great suit.”
“Keep it simple. Unless you’re going with custom suits, stay with solid and neutral colors, Navy, Charcoal gray, etc. Although boring, this approach allows you to mix and match accessories and expand your wardrobe. Be bold and make drab, dynamic by using a wide selection of ties and shirts.”

I have to agree that if you are looking for big and tall mens clothing that you should look at a store that specializes in them. There are many great online stores that will proved great namebrand products that you would be able to try out in the comfort of your own home and not have to bother with the crowds.

The online space has revolutionized direct marketing and now it is truly possible to satisfy the needs of specific segments and niches. Clothing is no different, and it makes sense to shop and purchase from sites that provide products that suit ones size and taste. I agree with TJ that online shopping has revolutionized buying especially for us 6’4″ guys. But . . I have bought so many clothed that don’t fit I hate to buy online. Mens shoes are a great example. I just don’t like to send thing back.

My husband is 6’6″ and does have a had time shopping for clothes that fit him. But we have actually found a couple that do have things that fit him every time we go. Check mens apparel here. They always have something for those taller men.

I in particular don’t like buying clothe from Internet.. its so rare .. its not the same watching it on a monitor that in a store, but now in days it’s so common among everyone.. when i buy clothe i have to try it on first to be sure but thats just me

great post, i agree that it is faster to try clothes online, but if you find a good brand you can trust you can order online and have a lot more choice and save some money.

I am a larger framed guy and I have never had any luck buying clothes off of the internet as it is an absolute must for me to try them on first. It would be nice to go to a tailor some time and be measured for a nice suit. I haven’t done that since I was back in high school getting measured for a prom suit.

I am a big and tall man, so i know what it’s like to have to search for big boy clothes. Unfortunately there are some companies that make poor big and tall clothing which makes it even harder to find good clothes.

Word from the wise- If you’re going to order clothes online, (especially big or tall stuff) I would highly recommend getting yourself measured professionally. Just get measured and get the numbers. It makes life SOOOO much easier when it comes to ordering your clothes online.

Well this is the most common problem for all the people because if you are very tall then you will have only selected outfits on the shops so that yo uhave to compromise with your choice. So this is really a sad thing and here you have posted the solution for this problem.

Good points. The internet has certainly made it easier, but the geographical seperation from the store can certainly make things a pain. This is why I only use popular major suppliers that I trust for both purchasing and for sale. This helps guarantee that the customer experience will be more positive should there be any size issues. Also, they typically have far better rates, shipping speeds, and return policies.
